Diode Dynamics Stage Series SS12 12″ Amber Wide LED Light Bar

The Diode Dynamics Stage Series SS12 Amber Wide LED Light Bar is a compact auxiliary light designed for broad forward illumination. Its 12-inch housing and controlled Wide beam make it suitable for 4x4s, pickups, and off-road vehicles where the priority is seeing more of the road or trail rather than projecting a narrow beam far into the distance.

The 100° × 8° beam pattern spreads light across a wide horizontal area while keeping the vertical distribution controlled. This makes the SS12 useful for illuminating track edges, nearby terrain, and the area ahead of the vehicle. Compared with the Driving version, the Wide configuration prioritizes peripheral coverage over maximum distance.

The amber version produces 1,600 measured lumens with a 2000K color temperature. Its warmer output can be useful in dust, fog, rain, and other conditions where reflected white light may become distracting. Actual visibility still depends on the conditions, mounting position, and correct beam alignment.

Diode Dynamics uses TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optics to direct LED output into the intended beam pattern. The slim housing also makes the SS12 easier to integrate into a bumper, grille, or custom lighting mount where a larger light bar may not fit.
