Diode Dynamics SS3 Flush Mounting Kit DD6269P

The Diode Dynamics DD6269P SS3 Flush Mounting Kit is a replacement mounting solution designed specifically for Diode Dynamics Stage Series SS3 3-inch Flush Mount LED Pods. It provides the hardware and frame gaskets required when installing compatible SS3 pods into a flush-mount location.

Flush mounting is particularly useful on custom 4×4 builds where a clean, integrated lighting installation is preferred over an exposed pedestal-style bracket. Depending on the vehicle and fabrication, SS3 flush-mount pods can be integrated into custom bumpers, rear bumpers, truck beds, body panels, storage systems, and fabricated accessory panels.

The kit includes flush frame gaskets and mounting hardware for two lights. The gaskets help provide the interface between the SS3 installation and mounting surface, while the supplied hardware secures the pods in position.

An important distinction is that DD6269P is a replacement mounting hardware kit only. It does not include the SS3 LED pods or the front flush-mount bezels. Diode Dynamics complete SS3 flush-mount light packages use this DD6269P kit alongside the appropriate SS3 flush-mount pods.

At RK Custom, we recommend flush mounting when the vehicle design allows a proper recessed installation and there is enough clearance behind the mounting surface. On fabricated bumpers and custom panels, accurate cutting, correct pod positioning, wiring clearance, and access for future servicing should all be considered before installation.
